Poems October 2023
In a right-turn-only lane
Pretty hard to miss
Its right-turn-only-ness:
An attribute it all
But audibly declared
In as many words of white.
My signaling a right
Was a click beyond the call,
Or would have been . . . What was I doing?
Why bother? Enough with being
Nicer than required.
