Hackers attack internet, New Criterion website affected
[Posted 4:33 PM by James Panero]
If you have found that The New Criterion and Armavirumque have been slow in loading to your computer in the past 12 hours, you are not alone. Our web hosting company, IPowerWeb, fell victim to a Denial of Service attack that limited your ability to download pages from www.newcriterion.com and also prevented us from uploading new material to the site. IPowerWeb now informs us that their servers have been able to return to speed in the past hour.
So not to worry. The New Criterion is back up and running. High culture remains secure.
